Zire Las Vegas

I wanted to make my Zire "Night Rider". But Zire has only 2 buttons(Date and Address), so I couldn't reproduce the Night Rider's flow of lights ; repeating move to left-and-right.
So I arranged the existing circuit(*), also increased the number of LED to ten pieces, and did the "KAIZO(remodelling)" in the style of roulette. Green LED and red LED alternately blink, and it shines showy.
*I referred to Mr. SANAI's "substrate for m100".

Procedure:
First of all, I made the transparent button by the synthetic resin.
Next, wiring. The wiring diagrams is as follows;

Although wiring was only this, a problem surfaced...
Usually, the serial is needed in order to shine the "Night Rider" -- we take the motive signal of Night Rider from serial. However, there is no serial in Zire!! Furthermore, there is no button which becomes a motive trigger... I could not but attach the switch personally. But, if I was going to attach a slide switch, I had to shave a case considerably, and if I was going to attach a push-on switch, I had to make a hole in a case. I was thinking about it and looking at a substrate...
...!! The push-on switch may be attached there. :-)

The space where I was going to attach the switch is the side of the parts unit of infrared rays.
If a push-on switch is attached here, it is not necessary to make a hole in a case because the portion pushed is fit with the space of the screw hole on the case's back side. And the inlaid parts of both sides of the case are fairly powerful, so it won't become scattered just because without stopping one screw. The switch installation place is determination here. (^-^)v After cutting the leg of the switch, attach it.

Shaves the switch interference part of the projection so that a lid can be shut exactly.
After wiring finishing, attach the LED under the button.
Arrange so that light will start from the Date button and rotate in the clockwise direction.
Adjust position of a button and LED, and make sure that it does not start without operation when a lid was shut. Tighten a screw and it is completion.

Just for your information... My Zire also has "8MB upgraded memory" and "Beep Light" :-)
